Exploring the western part of the country continues with a visit to Kurobe Railway and Kanazawa Japan. The scenery is amazing and the engineering great as I park the Suzuki in Kurobe. Taking the Suzuki to see the Kurobe Gorge Railway   A amazing opportunity to see spectacular views.    Have delivered the rental Suzuki and the journey continues with Shinkansen from Toyama to Kanazawa. Next stop Kanazawa, also on the UNESCO heritage list. 21st Century Museum of contemporary art in Kanazawa Outside the museum, designed by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa. Sputniko! Hurra for May 17th! We are all dressed in red, white and blue! For me being a Norwegian celebrating this day in 28 degrees is not anyting I have experienced before. Greeted by the Norwegian embassador to Japan. Inside the Norwegian embassy. Norwegian companies doing trade in Japan have provided Norwegian salmon. Greetings from the King and Queen to all of us that is gathered in Tokyo for this celebration. Hurra! Speeches is important on a day like this. Norway and Japan Waffles with brown cheese is essential on a day like this. Unfortunately brown cheese is not made in a place where we experience high temperatures, this is a classic Norway problem. Hot dogs and ice cream is also essential on this day. Yes! I won in the lottery! After the celebration at the embassy we continued our Norway day at Fuglen, a cafe, in Tokyo. With the celebrations over it is time to get out of Tokyo. I have bought a railpass that is not valid for where my final destination is. This guy have a solution and I am able to pay the difference.
