The legion of Honor San Francisco is a fine arts museum located in Lincoln Park, northwest of San Francisco with views over the Golden Gate bridge. Here is photos from a charity event that is hold twice every year by different pawn shops. The event is held at Ryutsu Center. Getting there from central Tokyo by the Tokyo Monorail is the most convenient way. Make sure to bring your passport for tax free shopping. Both cash (Yen) and major international credit cards can be used. Take the Monorail from Hamamatsucho station and exit on Ryutsu Center Station. For this event the first two people in line came at 11 pm. the day before. That was too early. If you are there around 8 a.m. I expect you will have a reasonable place in the line.
