What Weekendstop is
Weekendstop helps you find a microcation: a short getaway of four nights or fewer. Most flight sites ask where you want to go. Weekendstop starts from what you already know: where you are flying from and how many days you have, and optionally a date or month and a budget. It then lists the destinations you can reach and what the flights cost, so you can discover places you had not thought of.
How it works
- Inputs: departure airport (one or several), a date or a month, how many days you have, and an optional maximum budget.
- Prices: return fares per person, from Google Flights data, shown in the currency you choose.
- Time at the destination: we take the trip length, subtract the return flights and a 4-hour airport buffer, and show what is left. Trips with under 12 hours on the ground are hidden by default; you can turn that filter off.
- Coverage: 320+ departure airports across Europe and beyond.
Booking and how the site is funded
Weekendstop does not sell tickets and earns no commission on bookings. Links lead to Google Flights or to the airline's own booking page. The site is supported by advertising.
