This weekend I am traveling to Senja in northern Norway. Visiting Senja in the summer can either be really good or really bad. There is no place as nice as beautiful as northern Norway when the sun is shining, however the chance of too much sunshine is pretty low. I am traveling from Kristiansand, Oslo and my flight lands at Snowman airport, Bardufoss. I am attending a wedding this weekend at “Hamn i Senja”. We are approaching the airport in Bardufoss. Landing at Snowman International Airport, BDU. Driving from the airport to Finnsnes, snow covered mountains and green fields. From Finnsnes the journey continues to Senja. These roads are challenging during the winter, and if you meet a car going in the opposite direction.   Stopping for photos at this amazing location that is a part of the Senja National Tourist Route. This weekend my stop is Harstad and Sortland in norhtern Norway. Travelling north to visit my family and new nephew. First leg of the journey is from Kristiansand KRS to Oslo Gardermoen OSL, changing flight there and Evenes EVE is my final destination. Norwegian ariline will take me there for a reasonable price. I will spend one day in Harstad before taking Hurtigruten from Harstad to Sortland where my sister and her family lives. Here is the photos for your inspiration. Norwegian airlines from Kristiansand to Evenes After watching too many episodes of air crash investigation I always prefer to sit next to the wings of the aircraft. If it is a better chance to survive a unexpected situation I do not really know. Cheap flight to Warsaw Poland As I have said before, Warsaw Poland is a easy weekend stop when you live in Norway. Cheap flight and a hassle free destination for some days. This time I will also fly with Wizz airlines from Torp (TRF) to Warsaw (WAW). I have booked a appartment trough Expedia that is close to the Cultural Palace in Warsaw. Having a relaxing weekend, visiting a Michelin star restaurant, shopping and going to a museum is on my list for this weekend stop. The city is not as efficient as I would like, thing takes time, calculate that in your plans before going. Big city life, lounges, restaurants and shopping made this fun.
