Being here in Tokyo I am amazed how smart the city is, how good everything works and I am truly convinced that Tokyo is a smart city to visit. Being here you will soon understand and go along with how this city just flows. I have bought myself a PASMO card and filled it up with 5000 yen. Thursday night and now it is time for dinner and a show in Tokyo. First up is a traditional restaurant located in Shibuya before attending a show in Roppongi at Roppongi Kaguwa. Eating out in Tokyo means fresh ingredients and a wide range of courses to choose from. Open kitchens where the food is prepared in front of you, several small dishes makes trying new courses a great experience. Expect to wait in line outside the most popular restaurants. Here is photos from a charity event that is hold twice every year by different pawn shops. The event is held at Ryutsu Center. Getting there from central Tokyo by the Tokyo Monorail is the most convenient way. Make sure to bring your passport for tax free shopping. Both cash (Yen) and major international credit cards can be used. Take the Monorail from Hamamatsucho station and exit on Ryutsu Center Station. For this event the first two people in line came at 11 pm. the day before. That was too early. If you are there around 8 a.m. I expect you will have a reasonable place in the line.
